- Organise: Make a list of the topics that you are sure you can cover for a session of limited time. Don’t make an overwhelming list. Rather go for a practically achievable target.
- Time management: After deciding your list, allot time to your subtopics and try to cover them within that time. Remember not to stress yourself out if you could not finish in time. It is okay. It takes time to master. You can make up for the lost time in your next topic.
- Small goals: Always decide small goals so that you stay motivated because of frequent achievements. You can surely set big goals, but it is very important that you achieve it once you start working on it.
- Breaks: Don’t over-work. Take breaks when you feel is necessary. It is good to push your limits but not if you’re not gaining anything from it. Take a short break, refresh your mind and resume. You should always make sure you don’t take too many breaks or too long breaks. You could lose interest in studies and that will completely spoil your past efforts.
- Challenge yourself: Coming under pressure before or during a class test is understandable. But if you train yourself to face it, you’ll be the champion. Prepare yourself by conducting mock tests for yourself. Set the clock and the question paper exactly as your class test and see how well you score. This is arguably the best and the most enjoyable way to master your topics. Once you learn your mistakes, you’re not going to repeat it. Remember, be true to yourself.
